Trials (A Fairly Simple Process!)

Flutastic is here to help you find just the “right” instrument for your needs and your budget, and trials are the perfect way to do that!

Shipping to you is free (in the US) with every flute purchase.

Up to three instruments at a time can be sent out on trial.  Here’s how it works:

1. Call with your information:

Call me (Susan) at (970) 689-5671 with your shipping information and a valid credit card number.  The purchase price of the instruments that you would like to try will be put on hold on a credit card but the amount is not actually charged unless you decide to buy, or unless the instrument(s) are not received back by Flutastic! within the allotted time.  The funds will be unavailable to you during the trial process.

2.Respond to the Trial Agreement

You would receive a trial agreement via email and then simply reply to it via email stating that you agree with the terms and conditions (simple directions are included!).

3. How Shipping to You Works

Shipping the instrument(s) to you via FedEx Ground is generally $30-$40 for up to three flutes (more for altos and basses),  (give or take depending on the size of the package),  and you pay shipping back to us via UPS or FedEx ground…no insurance required  as long as they are packed according to instructions per the trial agreement and sent back to Flutastic! via UPS or FedEx ground with adult signature required)).

Shipping to you is free, and will be refunded, if an instrument is purchased.

4. Terms of the Trial (7 to 10 business days)

Once you receive the instrument(s), you have seven business days to try it/them before the package would need to be on its way back to Flutastic via FedEx or UPS Ground (please do not use USPS!) on or before the eighth business day (I am also glad to make arrangements for a trial of up to 10 business days if needed).  Please make sure to pack the instrument(s) carefully with padding between all outer sides of the cases and the shipping box and tape the box well on all sides, so that it won’t come open.
Feel free to ask questions.  I’m always glad to help in any way that I can!
