About This Model
This beautiful handmade professional vintage flute is in a much higher class than the current Armstrong Heritage flute, which is mass-produced. It was carefully handmade most likely in the late 50’s or early 60’s, competing with the top-of-the-line Haynes and Powells at the time, and becoming a prototype of sorts. Tom Green, Jack Moore and Dale Eurkie, who are (and were) well-respected world class flute makers, were at Armstrong at the time. Joe Elias and Lars Kirmser play-tested the flutes and piccolos before they went out the door.

History of This Particular Flute::
The serial number of this flute traces its origin most likely back to the 50’s or 60’s. It has been treasured all these years, and now the owner would take great pleasure in knowing that someone else was enjoying it.

Condition
This flute is in excellent used condition (there are only a few very minor surface blemishes that are difficult to capture in a photo). The pads are in good shape and seal well with a light touch all the way down to low B.
Comes with a slimline case, a cleaning rod and removable plugs for the holes.
