Consignment Process

I would enjoy working with you to help sell your quality high-end instrument!

Putting your instrument on consignment is relatively simple:

-Flutastic! charges a competitive fee of 20% for any instrument that sells under $5000, and 18% for an item that sells over $5000.

-I would send you an agreement via email, and then you would send it back to Flutastic! (either by email, or via a hard copy along with your instrument).

-Once the instrument has been received, I will have an estimate done to see how much (if any) service it needs before putting it up for sale.  If work needs to be done, I will get your permission before proceeding.

-Depending on the cost of the service, I will either ask you to pay for the repairs, or I will cover them and then reimburse myself after the instruments sells.  Contact me and we will discuss options!

-Once the instrument is ready for sale, I will suggest a selling price.  You are welcome to discuss your ideas with me until we agree on a reasonable price.  I will never sell your instrument for a different price that what was agreed on.  If a customer wants to negotiate the price, I will always let you know and ask for your input/permission before changing the price.

-All instruments in my possession are insured by Clarion while on my premises or out on trial.

-Your instrument will not just sit here.  I advertise aggressively.  Whether or not an instrument sells quickly or takes a long time to move, be assured that I will continue to get the word out through various avenues!
