About this Flute:
Tom Green has been a world-class flute maker who has recently retired (a great loss to the flute world!).  Back in the 1960s and ’70s he worked alongside Jack Moore at Armstrong where the two of them first created the prototype for the handmade Heritage flutes and then continued to be part of the production.  Afterwards, Tom opened his own business where he handmade professional flutes.  Since they are no longer being made and there are only a few of his new ones left on the market, this flute is a rare gem!

Playability and Condition:
This flute is in excellent used condition, including the pads.  My technician has just finished looking it over and making a few adjustments/repairs.  It plays down to the low B with a light touch.  Very noticeable, is the ease of play in all registers, with the finesse of both the high and low notes.   Even the highest notes can be played pianissimo with very little effort!
